liver)
There is weakness and general debility. The colour of the
face is generally pale due to anaemia. There is loss of
appetite. The patient feels pain below the ribs on right
side (region of the liver). Sometimes the motion is loose.

2. FAQR-UD-DAM (Anaemia)
Paleness of the whole body, eyes and nail-bed. Swelling
of the face and feet, specially i the morning. General weakness
giddiness, loss of appetite and sometimes loose motions
are present.
Prescription and Instructions :
Same as above in sluggish liver. Use of fresh fruits , rich
diet such as soup of chicken, eggs, liver extracts, beet-root,
carrot, spinach and fenugreek etc, is advised.
3. YARQAN (Jaundice)
The colour of the urine and eyes is yellow, while that of
thelskin is pale. The colour of the stool is white or greyish.
There is nausea, vomiting, fever and general weakness.

4 . IZM-E-TEHAL( Enlargement of the spleen)
Enlarged spleen can be felt below the ribs on the left side,
sometimes up to the umbilical region. Sometimes, the patient
feels pain in that region and the abdomen seems enlarged,
accompanied by anaemia. The spleen is often enlarged due
to repeated attacks of malarial fever.
