There is pain and / or stiffness in one or more joints of
the body withnor without swelling. Sometimes there is fever.

2.IRQ-UN-NASA (Sciatica)

till all the pus expelled and the wound is healed.
5. ZARBA-E-SHAMS (Sunstroke )
Severe headache, hignh fever, excessive thirst and restlessness
is present. Then the patient collapses.

2. Crush onion and apply as a paste on the armpit and or
on the groin for
prevention from sunstroke.
3. One white onion if kept with one self also protects from
sunstroke.
4. In case of high fevers soak a piece of cloth in rose
water and vinegar and
apply frequently on the forehead.
Put an ice bag on the head.

8. JARAHAT (Cuts and wounds)
1. Bandage Bargad leaves on the wounds.
2. Burn Mazu and sprinkle its powder on the wound.
3. Grind Bargad leaves with water apply on the wound.
4. Burn old Jute fibres and sprinkle its ash on the wound.
5. Crush Zakhm-e-Hayat leaves, apply on the wound and bandage
tightly.
6. Crush Kakronda leaves and apply on the wound.

Take the powder with 30 ml. of wine or water once or twice.
II. MAR GAZIDAGI (Snake bite)
A short time after the snake bite, poison beigns to spread
throughout the body causing excruciating pain at the site
of the bite, followed by headache , vertigo and blurring
of vision. Lastly the patient loses consciousness, the head
inclines to one side, legs and arms become limp and twisted.
The pulse becomes weak and the patient becomes totally unconscious.
Instructions : If the case is seen within
one hour of the bite, a peice of cloth or string should
be tied rightly at a distance of 8 cm. above the bite and
one more bandage should be tied further above 8 cm. apart.
Afterwards a one cm. deep incision should be made in the
form of a cross at the place of bite by means of a sterilised
sharp knife or razor and then hot water must be poured on
the wound. The place should be squeezed hard so that the
blood flows out of the cut. Then apply a clean dressing.
The patient should immediately be referred to nearby hospital
after providing first aid.
The following prescriptions may help in the case
of snake bite.

Prescription No. 2
Take Gandana or Onion or Garlic in sufficient quantity with
wine or pure Ghee (Clarified butter).
Prescription No. 3
Patient should chew Neem leaves until he feels the bitterness
of leaves.
