I just got fired from my job. I am on H-1B. What are my options?

If you are fired from your H-1B job, you must leave the country within ten days of the end of your H-1B job. There is no better option. However, according to INS regulations, your employer must pay for the reasonable costs of return transportation to your last place of foreign residence if you are dismissed from your employment before the period of your authorized stay has ended.
